Under the partnership, patients who receive care from clinicians using Amwell’s telehealth platform can be referred to Dario’s program for chronic conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure and weight management.
The digital program uses connected devices, like glucometers, scales and blood pressure monitors as well as data tracking and support from health coaches. It will be available through Amwell in the second half of the year.

In February, the company announced a collaboration with Dexcom to integrate its continuous glucose monitors into Dario’s chronic-condition management platform. Dario said that partnership builds off its previously announced deal with biopharma giant Sanofi to speed the adoption of Dario’s tools in the U.S.
In a press release announcing the collaboration with Amwell, Dario said the agreement is part of its strategy to partner with “market leading strategic partners to accelerate adoption of Dario’s solutions.”
